Shipping Info.

PACKING AND SHIPPING

With orders containing both wine and cheese products, packages are shipped separately and we do our best to ship each package so they arrive on the same day, though it is not guaranteed. 

P.O. Boxes are not eligible for delivery and we recommend shipping to a business address whenever possible. If you include a P.O. box address we will have to hold your shipment until we can get a different address.

All orders are shipped via UPS. For wine: an adult (21+) signature is required at the time of delivery. If your shipment is returned to us due to failure to provide a signature for delivery, a re-shipping fee will incur.

Please include an email address with your order so that you can track your shipment! Wine will require an adult signature, and cheese should be refrigerated upon arrival. When sending a gift be sure to communicate to the receiver to expect the package.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

We ship orders on Tuesdays (*except holidays) via UPS.

Orders placed before 12 p.m. Monday will be processed and fulfilled the following Tuesday. Orders placed after 12:00 p.m. Monday will ship the next week, except upon special request.

All orders are subject to availability and can be delayed by holidays or adverse weather conditions. Customers will be notified by email if a weather delay is placed on their order. Weather delays can be overridden by request though due to possible tempering of goods, no refunds or exchanges will be given.

CHEESE SHIPPING

Spenker Family Farm can deliver cheese throughout the USA via UPS.  Packages are sent on ice in insulated boxes with 2 days or less of shipping time. Remember cheese is perishable and should be refrigerated upon arrival.

WINE SHIPPING

Wines can be shipped to the following states (as of Aug 2024): AK, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VT, WA, WI, WV, WY

ORDER CANCELATIONS AND REFUNDS

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept returns. If you received an expired or damaged product, please email our team with photos within 5 business days of the delivery date or date of purchase from a farmer's market/retailer. We request that if a bottle of wine is corked, you send us the cork.  We cannot accept a return of wine or cheese that was ordered in error or damaged by adverse weather conditions.  We make every effort to warn you of adverse weather in your area and give you the option of overriding a shipping delay at your own risk.  If you have a problem with a bottle of wine or cheese, please email alexandra@spenkerwinery.com.


Please note, products that have been opened will have a shorter shelf life than those left unopen/sealed. We highly recommend consuming our products within one week (especially soft cheeses) upon opening for freshness and less likely for mold or products to spoil. Our chevres also freeze beautifully unopened! Just transfer it to your refrigerator to thaw the night before you plan to use.

It is our customer's responsibility to double-check shipping and billing addresses added to online orders. Orders shipped with incorrect addresses are not eligible for reshipment or refunds. Please double check you input the correct shipping and billing addresses for orders.

Email addresses added to online orders will receive shipping/tracking emails from us when the label is created; when the shipment is out for delivery and finally when the shipment has been delivered. If the order is a gift, we highly recommend letting the intended know to expect a delivery on the delivery date. If someone isn’t home to receive the shipment/sitting outside for several hours, we are unable to send a new shipment.
