Goats: The Perfect Addition to your Homestead

Goats are playful, social, and intelligent beings.

Our herd is a diverse bunch of excellent milk goats. We have Nigerian Dwarf, Lamancha, Mini-Nubian, and Mini-Lamanchas. Each type of goat brings their own unique flavor, milk components, and personality to our farm and dairy. There is much to love about them all.

We have lots of baby goats (“kids”) available for sale in the Spring. They are born in February and early March. Want to reserve a baby doeling or buck? See below for additional details and to join our 2025 Waitlist!

Occasionally we will have adult does (female goats) available for sale as well.

Each year we keep a few of the kids for our own herd, but most will be rehomed to forever families. Reach out to us today with some details about what you are looking for and we will add you to our waitlist for one (or two, or three…) of our wonderful goat kids.

FAQs

Are they friendly?

Our kids are regularly handled and participate in our visitor events such as Goat Yoga and Goodnight Goats, so they are used to being held. They are generally VERY friendly and love to follow you around. Each breed of goat has it’s own energy level. Lamanchas are typically more docile, while Nigerian Dwarfs are quite spunky, and Mini-Nubians are mid-energy. We have babies in lots of colors!

Do you have boys and girls?

Yes, we have both female and wether (neutered male) kids. Bucklings are available if arrangements are made early in the season (deposit required.) Because our herd is relatively small it limits the genetic diversity of our kids, so we do not sell breeding “pairs.”

Do you have meat goats?

Our goats are all bred to be milk goats, meaning their bodies naturally prioritize making milk over muscle. We do not sell them for meat.

Do they grow horns?

Our kids will either be disbudded or polled so they will not have horns.

When can I take them home?

Our kids are born in February/March and are weaned and ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks old (unless you would like a bottle baby.) Weaned kids will have their first CD-T vaccination before going home.

Return Policy

Once a goat leaves our property, the sale is final. For biosecurity, we do not accept returns or offer refunds. Because we cannot control what happens once a goat leaves our farm, their health is not guaranteed. Buyers should carefully examine their goat at the time of pick-up. We do our best to ensure the health of our animals and will communicate any issues we have detected, but it is always good to check for yourself so you can take your new friend home with confidence!

Are they registerable?

We have a few kids each year that can be registered (typically with TMGR) upon request. An additional fee will apply.
