Frequently Asked Questions

We are OPEN to the public FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY 12 pm to 4 pm.

As this is a working farm we kindly ask that you do not drop-in during the week (even just to look at goats...we know they are adorable!) as we are not always available or able to handle customers outside our regular open hours. If you have questions please call 209.367.0467 or email sarah@spenkerwinery.com.

Closed major Holidays such as New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

RESERVATIONS are required for groups of 6 or more people. Please no limos or buses. Reservations can be made by call (209) 367-0467.

Please NO outside food or alcohol. We have a selection of crackers and local products for you to purchase to enjoy with your Spenker wines and cheeses.

Children are welcome to visit the farm! They must be with a responsible adult at all times. All guests must remain in designated visitor areas.

No Dogs please. This is for biosecurity and the comfort of our goats and guests. We do have dogs that work here at the farm that will be happy to greet you.

There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere on the property.

FAQs

May I pet the goats?

The goat pen is located near our tasting room, so guests are welcome to watch them during their visit. For biosecurity (health of animals and people) we do not allow guests to pet or feed the goats, or go into the goat pen, except during ticketed events such as Goat Yoga in the spring. Unlike at a petting-zoo our goats’ main job is to give us milk for cheese!

What other animals do you have?

We have dogs, goats, and chickens.

When is Goat Yoga?

Our Goat Yoga and Goodnight Goat events are held in the springtime from Mid-February through May when we have lots of baby goats. Tickets typically go on sale during the winter holidays. Join our email list or follow us on social media to be notified of release dates.

Can I rent your facility ?

For reservations outside normal tasting room hours please email info@spenkerwinery.com for availability and pricing. If you have a small group (>8 people) you may make a reservation to visit during our regular Tasting Room hours (F-M, 12PM-4PM) and our staff will be happy to make your special day fun and enjoyable! Please note, no outside food or alcohol is allowed on the premises.
